What is going on now?
We are a choir. Sec 2, sec 3 or sec 4. we are A CHOIR. A CHOIR. and we're actually fighting just because of some ego problems. Is it worth it? the relationship that we worked on, the bond a choir should have. BROKEN JUST BECAUSE OF PRIDE. it's just really saddening to know this. Just because some people are not happy, THE MATTER IS BLOWN UP and all the effort everyone put in, comm or not, all the effort placed in to help bond the choir together, just got drained away... I don't even know why we fighting. TO SEE WHO IS RIGHT? TO PROVE WTH IS ACTING BIG?
you know, if this carries on, our relationship as seniors and juniors, as a choir, will sour. and by that time, even if we clinch a GOLD WITH HONOURS, it'll just be same as clinching a COP. even if the seniors are leaving soon, IT GIVES NO excuse to have the mindset that 'oh, it's none of my business what will this choir be after i go.' being senior doesnt mean that yr juniors cannot correct you. leaving the choir doesnt mean you can just loosen up and don't give a damn about anything. i think we all have to know that as long as we're STILL in choir for a day, we're ONE CHOIR. ONE VOICE, ONE SPIRIT, ONE SOUL. O-N-E. it's really important that we know that even if a junior reprimand us, we have to take it with grace and not just be unhappy because a junior just told you off. in fact, we should reflect about it and if it's really our fault, then change.
and abt this matter, the sec 3s might be a little harsh on saying those things to choir. but instead of using the time to being angry, why not reflect and think what exactly did we do to deserve all this. And if you really feel that maybe we are really overboard, instead of making a huge fuss abt it, come and talk to us and at least we know our weaknesses and we can also reflect, right. i just really pray hard that this matter won't create a permanent scar between the choir and the comm.
